Core Aeration
At Creekside Turf Management, we use deep tine Aerators to penetrate the soil and create air flow within the soil. It’s very important to Aerate on a yearly basis as it helps soil compaction and disease prevention.
Dethatching
Dethatching is when you scrape the dormant grass aggressively with a rake or steel tines to rough up the lawn and get the unwanted, dead grass from the previous year. Dethatching has several benefits to your lawn. It helps get airflow and water down to the surface easily. This helps encourage the grass roots to grow deeper and also helps prevent fungus from developing later on in the summer.
Landscape Maintenance
To wrap up the year, we trim back shrubs, bushes, trees and ornamental grasses before winter hits and the plants go dormant.
